I got four the last time I was there, and I found some great new songs/bands off them. Lots of different genres. Some good, some bad. Kudos Monitor This.

Fiji apples
I’m normally not a fruit eater, but these apples are delicious. You’ve never tried an apple until you’ve tried one from Fiji.

Birch Beer
What’s the difference between birch beer and root beer? I don’t know but it’s like comparing White Zinfandel and California Burgundy. Or comparing hot cousins to ugly stepsisters. I don’t know what that necessarily means but I do know that birch beer, especially if white or blue, is one under-rated, delicious carbonated beverage. You can’t take that to the county fair.

PR’s All Songs Considered podcasts
Some people I know live by National Public Radio. I’m not sure why exactly, but the one good thing it has going for them is All Songs Considered. It offers several concerts as free, uninterrupted podcasts or as MP3s from its Web site.

Heard about how great it is? Yeah, that’s because it is, and this novel lives up to the hype. It’s a page turner. Although every book is. Unless the pages are glued together. Or if it’s an audiobook or whatever you call books on the Web. Just read it, idiot.
